Assets and liability management compares the movements in assets and liabilities on the balance sheet in order to manage them dynamically. It makes a static and dynamic comparison of the company’s commitments and investment of its assets, whilst striking a balance between risk and returns on one hand and liquidity/profitability on the other hand.
